When I graduated from film school with a goal to be a professional video editor, I never realized how quickly I’d fall in love with motion design. The more I worked in that side of projects, the more obvious it was that I preferred design over pure editing roles. This realization ultimately led me to go back to school for design. The idea that I could work on products which evolve overtime was the trigger to pivot to UX design.
